Joe Flacco and the Ravens are 2-0 and are likely playoff contenders after big wins over Cleveland and and the Benglas. Baltimore’s defense has been ferousious this year so far, shutting out the Bengals in week one and then holding Cleveland to just ten points last week on the road.

Jacksonville appears to be a complete mystery after thumping the Houston Texans at home in week one only to travel to Nashville to get thumped by the Titans in week two. If the Jags want to turn their season around they will need to get a win in their second home of London to get to 2-1 to challenge Tennessee in the division. Blake Bortles has played well overseas in recent years. Maybe another trip across the pond will change the Jaguars fortunes and help them turn the ship around. Bortles is in a contract year and will likely be released after the season if he doesn’t get the Jaguars into the playoffs or make the team into a viable contender.

The Ravens came to London as a 3.5 point favorite over the Jaguars although the line has shrunk to just three. It seems like Baltimore would be a pretty safe bet this week but you never really know what’s going to happen in the NFL. Baltimore has never played in London before and that could hurt them with the time change and early gametime. The Jags do it every year and you have to think that benefits them when it comes down to preperation.
