Last night at Bellator 140 Paul Daley defeated Dennis Olsen by TKO in the second round. The first round was very competitive and the underdog Olsen had “Semtex” in trouble a couple of times. Ultimately Daley’s striking took over in round two and the popular UK fighter got the win.
After the win, with Josh Koscheck sitting cageside, Daley called out his rival and said they would be fighting soon.
Mr. Crotch-check, look at that mother, we’ll leave the beepin’ in there. Me and Koscheck we are gonna get into a big fight real soon. We still have a beef I still hate that hair, I still hate him. We are going to settle it in the Bellator cage.
The fight with Kosckheck won’t happen right away. Daley is scheduled to fight at the big September Bellator show in a kickboxing match in San Jose. But we will get to see a rematch of Bellator 110 from five years ago. Daley recently commented that their rematch would break the records that Kimbo vs Shamrock set on Spike TV last month.
Koscheck revealed during Bellator 140 that he will make his debut in December so the fight could take place then. It’s doubtful we will see him fight anyone but Daley in his first fight. If the former UFC #1 contender lost in his first bout in Bellator it would kill the buzz the fight with his bitter rival has right now. “Kos” has lost five straight and can’t afford another loss if he wants to be taken seriously.
