Paul Daley is known for getting into trouble after his fights and last night in London at Bellator 179 it happened again. After losing to Rory MacDonald by submission Daley called out Bellator middleweight Michael ‘Venom’ Page and didn’t mince any words on how he felt about MVP.

Michael Page is a pussy. If that pussy wants to get in the cage with me next time Bellator come to Wembley we can do it. Pussy!

After calling out Page, Daley rushed to the first row where he was sitting and fireworks ensued.

MVP and Daley were supposed to headline Bellator 179 but once negotiations broke down Bellator President moved Daley into a fight with Rory MacDonald and MVP into a fight with Derek Anderson. Unfortunately Page had to pull out due to injury and Linton Vassell vs Liam McGeary was promoted to co-main event.

If Coker wants to make Daley vs MVP in Wembley it would be a huge fight and really help grow Bellator in the UK. Both fighters are from England and would be easy to promote due to both men’s exciting style of fighting. Daley struggles with elite grapplers but is usually good for a highlight reel knockout if the fight remains standing. MVP is 7-0 in Bellator with four of those wins coming by KO.

With Daley going off on MVP it steals the spotlight from MacDonald who completely dominated Daley in the main event. With the win MacDonald would get a title shot later in the year against the winner of Lorenz Larkin vs. Douglas Lima.
