Seth Rollins is in danger of missing his second straight Wrestlemania after re-injuring his knee against Samoa Joe in the last segment on RAW Monday. WWE.com teased Rollins leaving the building on crutches but it was thought to be all part of an angle that would set up a match between Joe and Rollins at Fastlane.
Today on Twitter Rollins posted a picture of his knee as he was getting treatment from doctors.
Wish I could say it was just a bad dream. pic.twitter.com/mr5vu1MEVp

If Rollins is out of Mania in April it will be a pretty big blow to him and his long-simmering feud with Triple H that was set to culminate in Orlando. The two men were rumored to be wrestling on last year’s show but when Rollins tore his ACL in November 2015 at a live event overseas plans were scrapped and Triple H faced Roman Reigns instead.
The WWE booking committee held an emergency meeting today to try to figure out what to do with Triple H and Rollins should “The Architect” not be able to wrestle at Wrestlemania 33. It’s thought that Samoa Joe could be moved into the match with HHH but nothing has been confirmed. Luckily the WWE still has two months to figure out what to do and can develop storylines that make sense to build to the biggest show of the year.
As of now Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt, Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg are the only matches in stone for the show. It’s also being rumored that Vince McMahon wants to do AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon and Nikki Bella and John Cena vs Maryse and Miz at Wrestlemania. Hopefully the WWE booking committee can talk some sense into the WWE CEO and scrap the intergender match with Cena and book him in a meaningful match with someone like Baron Corbin.
