We can add another name to the growing list of Royal Rumble participants, Seth Rollins. Rollins announced on Twitter that he will be in the Royal Rumble match after missing the event last year due to injury.

If Rollins hadn’t been asking to fight Triple H every Monday night he would be one of the favorites to win the Rumble. However, the worst kept secret in wrestling is that Rollins will finally get his one on one match with “The Game” at Wrestlemania 33 in April.
It’s possible the WWE could swerve us and have Rollins win and then have him give up the title shot in lieu of a match with Triple H. However, I think Hunter comes out and screws Rollins when he is one of the final guys left in the battle royal to set up their match in Orlando this spring.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Rollins is one of the first guys in the match and puts on a Shawn Michael-like performance. “The Architect” could come out at #1 or #2 and then last until the end when Triple H costs him the victory and a title shot.
In addition to Rollins, Baron Corbin, Chris Jericho, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman have been officially announced for the Rumble. Roman Reigns could be added if he doesn’t beat Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Title.
