Jimi Manuwa is starting to turn heads in the UFC light heavyweight division. After knocking out Ovince St. Preux last year Manuwa knocked out the #6 ranked Corey Anderson today in London at the UFC Fight Night event in London in the first round.

After the knockout Manuwa said, “One shot, one kill.” Then he asked for the winner of the Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson II that will take place in April. Manuwa also asked for a boxing match with David Haye which could be on the undercard of the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather bout later this year if it happens.
Manuwa is now a top contender in the division. Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teiweira will battle it out this Spring to determine the new #1 contender but if Cormier loses to Johnson he could get an immediate rematch. Jon Jones also returns this summer and will also throw a wrench into the division since he could also command an immediate title shot. If I was Manuwa I would’ve called out Jones. No one expects him to win, and if you recall, Jones looked pretty rough against Ovince St. Preux after his long layoff last year.
