AroundTheOctagon.com has learned that Drew McFedries will fight James Irvin at UFC 98 in Las Vegas. McFedries (7-5,) is coming off a disappointing first round loss to Thales Leites at UFC 90. He has lost 4 of his last 6 fights in the UFC and looking to get back on track against “The Sandman”.

James Irvin was last seen seeing stars after being knocked out by Anderson Silva early in the first round back in July. Before that fight Irvin was 3-1 in the UFC and looked very impressive when he knocked out Houston Alexander in 8 seconds. Irvin is coming back from a suspension for testing positive for methadone and oxymorphone after the fight with Silva.
