It was announced earlier today that Phil Baroni would be pulling out of UFC 118 due to a collarbone injury that will require minor surgery. Now it appears that Dan Miller will be stepping up and filling in for “The Best Eva” next month in Boston against John Salter according to a post from Salter on Facebook.

Miller has lost three straight in the UFC but all three losses came against top guys in the middleweight divsion, Michael Bisping, Demian Maia, and Chael Sonnen. A loss at UFC 118 would likely mean a pink slip for Miller who is lucky to get another fight after three straight losses.

Salter is coming off a big win over Jason McDonald at UFC 113 and is looking to make it two straight to build some momentum.
